Question (Category: Ford)
I recently pulled the engine out of my 1999 ford 4.6L f150 XLT and i cant remember which transmission bellhousing bolts go where when bolted back to the block. There are 5 short bolt and 2 longer bolts but i cant remember which ones go where. So if i could find that out it would be a great help.

Hello Amaxingamingo,Thanks for coming to Just Answer to ask a question. On top of the trans there are 2 short bolts used then the next 2 one on each side down from the top 2 should be the longer bolts. The longer bolts are used where the trans bellhousing guide pins are. Thanks for using Just Answer & Thanks for pressing ACCEPT or simply typing I ACCEPT this payment has helped me and my family out. God Bless.
